K2N comes with a database of hundreds of tempting recipes and over 4,000 ingredients, analysed to 33 nutritional components, in addition to sample menu plans. As well as being able to adjust these recipes to suit individual nutrition requirements or taste preferences, you can add any number of your own recipes, for which K2N will also provide an instant, at-a-glance nutritional breakdown.

You can evaluate precisely what you’re planning to serve – from a single meal to a whole day, week, month or any other period. And you can review menu history to build up a complete nutritional picture and assist with planning forthcoming menus.

Allergens

K2N has an allergen function built in to every ingredient meaning you have all of the allergen information you need at your fingertips. You can also easily review allergens in any of your recipes and menus within K2N. They are 14 major allergens which need to be mentioned (either on a label or through provided information such as menues) when they are used as ingredients in a food. The allergens are; Celery, Cereals containing gluten, Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Lupin, Milk, Molluscs, Mustard, Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame seeds, Soya and Sulphur Dioxide.
