Answers

Can I have a credit Account?

Yes, we offer credit accounts. Our standard credit terms are 30 day credit terms or 15th month following. We prefer that you pay your credit account by Direct Debit, but we also accept BACS, Cash or Cheque. We do not offer credit accounts to all our customers. As an alternative, we do offer "Cash on Delivery" accounts, whereby you can pay our drivers with cash everytime you receive your delivery. The decision whether to give you a credit account is the sole decision of our finance department.

How do I become a customer of Turner-Price?

If you wish to become a customer of Turner-Price, please fill in the customer enquiry form, and one of our sales managers will contact you as soon as possible. Our sales managers will assess your exact needs and provide you with a detailed price quotation. If you are happy with the prices and service we offer, you need to fill in an official "new customer" application form. You will need to sign this form. Our sales managers will give you this form, and will then ensure you account is opened immediately.

What is the Country Range Group?

The Country Range group consists of 14 independent wholesalers who act as a national buying group. This allows each independent wholesaler to offer their customers a high quality "own label" product under the Country Range brand banner. The Country Range brand is exclusive to Country Range members, and is designed to meet the highest quality scores (ingredients, taste, value for money). Do you have a delivery charge?

No. We do not charge you for any of your deliveries. However, within certain geographical areas we do have a minimum order value of £75.

How can I place my order?

We are ultimately flexible in this area. You can order by phone (you can ring us or we can ring you), you can order via email, fax or one of our sales managers will visit to take your order in person. For more information about our opening hours, please see our "Customer Services" section.

Will my prices secretly rise all the time?

Turner-Price Ltd have a totally open policy when it comes to pricing, and you can see all our list prices by downloading our product brochure from this website or requesting a hard copy. No. We will not secretly increase your prices. We only change your prices, when our suppliers change their prices. Hence you are always getting the best deal possible within the market.

Can I return any products I order?

There are strict rules on the return of goods once they have been delivered to you. You are permitted to return any good with the delivery driver at the time of delivery. In some circumstances, the delivery driver will need to request permission from the sales office. If you have signed the delivery notes and fully accepted the goods from the driver, then certain restrictions apply to the return of goods:- a) You cannot return any Frozen, Fresh Meat, Fresh Fruit and Vegetables or Chilled products under any circumstances. Turner-Price Ltd is not obliged to credit you for any goods once they have been formally delivered and accepted. b) You may return dry goods within 24 hours of delivery, if you contact the Sales Office. The sales office reserves the right to refuse the return of even dry goods, if the return of goods is not due to a mistake made by any member of Turner-Price Ltd.
